Awareness 

Short Version

Awareness means treating one another with consideration, responsibility, and solidarity.

At events, people repeatedly experience various forms of discrimination. Awareness addresses this and aims to dismantle structures of exclusion and inequality, as well as to promote consensus-based action. 

This can only succeed within the context of an event if all participants develop an attitude and practices that counteract discrimination. The goal is to create a safe atmosphere in which everyone feels comfortable and personal boundaries are respected. That is why the following applies at our forum:

• No room for: racist, sexist, transphobic, ableist, anti-Semitic, classist, or other discriminatory behavior 
• Only »yes« means yes: Be aware that everyone sets their own boundaries—these must be respected without exception.
• Look out for yourself and others: Everyone should feel comfortable and safe on the RAS forum. Discriminatory and abusive behavior is not accepted here.
