The forum is organised decentrally in Offenbach. The central facilities (including the information kiosk, bar, food, break areas, awareness and childcare) are located in the north-east of the city centre, whilst the workshop venues are spread out towards the centre. You’ll find our information kiosk in the square in front of the Family Centre. There’s always someone there during the day who can help you with any questions you might have about the programme or the venues. The information point also doubles as the Forum Bar, serving cold drinks on a pay-what-you-can basis!

Childcare is available on Saturday and Sunday: in the church or, weather permitting, in the courtyard of the Protestant Family Centre. There are all sorts of toys here! A supervisory person from »die Falken« – an independent, self-organised political and educational association for children and young people – is always on hand.

In the church hall of the family centre, you’ll find the chill-out area: a quiet, shaded spot with books to browse through and a craft corner.

We all work together to create safe spaces, which is why we have developed an awareness concept for the forum in advance. Awareness means treating one another with consideration and solidarity. The following therefore applies at the forum:

- Only »yes« means yes!
- Look after yourself and others!

Description from the museum itself: »A small lift takes you up the six steps from the entrance to the foyer. From the foyer, you can reach the first and second floors by lift. The lift also goes down to the basement, where the toilets and cloakroom are located. Two steps lead into the large exhibition hall, which can be negotiated using a platform lift. As our entrance door does not open automatically, wheelchair users are welcome to contact our reception staff by telephone before visiting (Tel.: 069 / 8065-2164). A tactile floor guidance system aids orientation for people with visual impairments.«

The Kapelle is a student-run space at the HfG Offenbach (University of Arts & Design). It serves as a venue for a variety of musical events, workshops and gatherings. It also provides a relaxed environment and an accessible stage for beginners of all kinds. The Kapelle aims to create a welcoming space where everyone can feel at ease – free from any form of discrimination. To this end, the Kapelle has developed its own awareness programme. The audience is diverse, but consists mainly of students from the HfG.

Unfortunately, the Kapelle is not accessible: the entrance is via steps, and the toilet is on the upper floor, which has no lift.

A collectively self-organised studio with a large communal space for initiatives and groups, for plenary sessions and all kinds of events. Risoparadiso, a collective, open-access risograph printing workshop, is based here. The space is funded by memberships and donations from users and is run by the non-profit organisation untot e.V.

Unfortunately, the Walterpassage is not accessible: The spaces are on the first floor and can only be reached via a staircase.

The radraum is dedicated to promoting the bicycle as an ideal and sustainable mode of transport for urban areas. It offers a repair studio for DIY repairs, runs workshops, organises talks and acts as a liaison between residents, retailers, politicians and urban development stakeholders. The public events and group bike rides in the region are carried out in cooperation with various partners and actors from Offenbach, Frankfurt and the surrounding area – bringing together regional networking, knowledge transfer and cycling culture in the heart of the Rhine-Main region.
